Film description

A poetic story of love between two women in an urban scenery of Katmandu. In the affluent home of Kiran, Nepalese is spoken just as often as English. Diya, a dancer, comes from a more conservative family, which arranges her marriage. Although Nepal has one of the most liberal legislative systems when it comes to LGBTI persons in Asia, the social reality has its separate rights. The protagonists, fighting for their relationship, must confront the ostracism of the society and the lack of understanding from their closest relatives – in the modern capital, tradition turns out to be far stronger than it may seem.
