Film description
An uncompromising ode to the Japanese thrillers and to cinema as such. Sono returns to cinematic madness, unhampered by logic and good film taste. He uses his own script, written at the time of making the now cult Suicide club. But this time he uses gore aesthetic to make a dynamic black comedy in which, among fountains of blood, a group of amateur filmmakers by the lovely name of Fuck Bombers makes a dream project featuring... real Yakuza. Be prepared for samurai swords, plenty of bullets being shot out, a chopping knife chase, an unusual french kiss, and the most catchy tune from a toothpaste commercial.
