Film description

Time is money, life is work, sleeping is a luxury, and a body can easily contain 70% of caffeine (and 30% of cheap food from the closest stall). Yoon is the master of Photoshop, the deadline slayer, and the top candidate for the contract of the decade, with a job at a Japanese client at stake. The only thing standing in the way of the ambitious retoucher is a painful rash which he cannot get rid of with one click. When he finally decides to see a doctor, he meets a lovely, yet strict dermatologist who gives him his toughest task – resting.

Thamrongrattanarit's minimalist comedy is a painfully adequate picture of the life familiar to all freelancers. The director brilliantly blends the conventions of a subtle romantic comedy with his characteristic, poetic style and visual finesse. The intelligent humor and apt observations bring out something more important than industry jokes – a contemporary, universal diagnosis of corporate relationships and the world of social media. It is filled with critique and mockery, but also with sympathy – you know nothing about life if you have never spent a sleepless night working on a project.
