Morning Live Meeting: Surprising Asian VR
Virtual reality cinema is a technology that in just a few short years has gone from being a mere technical experiment to becoming a platform for the most insane, ambitious and artistically refined projects.
During the morning live meeting, we are talking about our VR discoveries, the different ways of watching them, and the individual experiences of the virtual screenings. We discuss the making of the titles presented in the Asian VR section, and the particular challenges of designing a 3D film world and creating a narration dedicated to viewers freely roaming around the world of the story. We are also letting you know which VR experience to look to for spectacular architecture, political subtexts, anime inspirations, and the twins from "The Shining"!

During the 7 p.m. evening meeting, we will be joined by Ankur Tewari, music supervisor for "Gully Boy." We will talk about the Indian indie music scene and the particularities of the local hip hop, about the intercultural sound flow and the music evolution of modern Bollywood cinema.
