Film description
The reality of the night life in Ho Chi Minh City, usually hidden from the world, becomes a background for the intertwining plots: the story of a young gay man, rejected by his family, who tries to cope in the big city, and the tale of an unusual friendship between a prostitute and a mentally disabled man. The social realism is complemented with fairy-tale metaphors, brutal scenes are contrasted with warm humor. Despite the hostile reality, the characters are able to save some space for intimate relationships and sincere emotions – even if they only last a short while.
