Restored Classics

This year, the festival focuses on Hong Kong classics, largely unknown in Poland, screened from high quality restored copies. The section is a cinephile's dream come true, showcasing cinematic masterpieces that have stood the test of time and, when interpreted from a contemporary perspective, become a completely different cultural text. These are also the favorite films of Asian audiences, without which it would be difficult to talk about both independent and commercial contemporary cinema.
