When and where does the Festival take place?
The 19th edition of the festival will take place on November 12-19 in Warsaw, at the Muranów Cinema (Gen. Andersa 5 Street), Kinoteka (Defilad 1 Square) and, for the first time, the Cinema Museum in the Tower of the Museum of Modern Art (Marszałkowska 103 Street).
How can I buy passes and tickets for the screenings in cinemas and online?
Passes, tickets, and access to both cinema and online festival are available at piecsmakow.pl The number of cinema passes is limited. The number of online passes is unlimited, and they will be on sale throughout the entire festival. Tickets for individual screenings will be available at piecsmakow.pl from October 23, and from November 1 also in the cinemas.
Pass prices
- 400 PLN – cinema + online pass (valid for cinema screenings in Warsaw)
- 230 PLN – online pass
Passes are personal and cannot be transferred to third parties - after purchase, they are automatically assigned to the account from which the order was placed. If you want to buy a pass for someone else, you can purchase a gift voucher.
Ticket prices
- 29 PLN – regular ticket;
- 26 PLN – senior ticket;
- 23 PLN – ticket for screenings before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday,
- 21 PLN – ticket for screenings before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for seniors,
- 40 PLN – opening of the Festival
Where can I collect my tickets and passes?
Passes can be collected in person from November 12 at the Five Flavors info point at the Muranów Cinema (ul. Gen. Andersa 5, Warsaw). There is no need to collect a printed badge, we recommend using an electronic pass available in your account on piecsmakow.pl. Tickets purchased at piecsmakow.pl are sent to your email address.
Do I need a paper version of the tickets and pass?
All you need to do is use the electronic version of the tickets or pass and show them on the screen of your phone or other mobile device before entering the screening room. You can find the electronic version of your pass in your account on piecsmakow.pl, and tickets purchased through our website will be sent to the email address provided in the sales form.
Do I need to book seats for screenings if I have a pass?
Yes, it is recuired to book a seat in order to attend a screening. Booking is possible from Tuesday, November 11 12:00, for the entire festival. To book a seat for a specific screening, simply log in to your account, go to the page of the selected film, and click “book”.
Please only book the screenings you want to attend. Bookings can be cancelled, even at the last minute - please keep this in mind and always cancel your reservation if you cancel the show - this will allow other viewers to use the available seat. If you decide to attend a screening at the last minute or for any other reason you do not book in advance, and there are seats available in the auditorium, your booking will be made "automatically" at the entrance to the auditorium after scanning your pass. For most of the screenings there will be free seats before the show itself. However, please pay special attention to the screenings of those films that we only show in the cinema - we expect the highest attendance at these screenings.
Are tickets sold for specific seats?
No, seats at the Festival are unnumbered.
