Tickets, Passes and VOD access to the Five Flavours Asian Film Festival

All films are presented in their original language, with Polish and English subtitles.

Passes

Two types of passes are available:

• Five Flavours Cinema+Online Pass, priced at 430 PLN – grants admission to cinema screenings in Warsaw (except the festival’s opening gala) and access to all films on the festival VOD platform. The number of Cinema+Online passes is limited.
• Five Flavours Online Pass, priced at 240 PLN – grants access to all films on the festival VOD platform. The number of online passes is unlimited and they are on sale until the last day of the festival.

This year’s cinema programme includes over 50 films, at least 43 of which will also be available online. Admission to selected cinema screenings is possible only after making a reservation in the system available after logging in to your account at piecsmakow.pl. Films on the festival VOD platform are available without limits throughout the online festival (from 10 November, 10:00 a.m., to 6 December, 11:59 p.m.).

Tickets and online access

• Tickets and VOD access to all screenings will be available from 20 October at piecsmakow.pl
• From 27 October, tickets for screenings in Warsaw will also be available on the websites and at the box offices of the festival cinemas: Kino Muranów (Gen. Andersa 5, kinomuranow.pl), Kinoteka (Plac Defilad 1, kinoteka.pl) and Kinomuzeum (Marszałkowska 103, artmuseum.pl/kino).

• 30 PLN – regular ticket
• 26 PLN – senior ticket (available at the cinemas)
• 24 PLN – ticket for screenings before 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
• 21 PLN – senior ticket for screenings before 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (available at the cinemas)
• 45 PLN – opening gala of the Festival on 10 November at Kino Muranów

Online access

• 23 PLN – single online access (lets you watch a selected film within 48 hours of pressing “Watch”)

Verified phone number and watching in Poland

These rules apply both to online passes and to single VOD accesses:

• To buy an online pass or VOD access and to watch films, you need a verified Polish mobile phone number (with the +48 country code). Verification is done once and takes a moment: after you enter your number, we send an SMS with a one-time code, which you simply enter on the website. The verified number is assigned to your account. We do not send marketing SMS messages.
• Films can be watched only within Poland – we determine your location based on your IP address.
• Playback will not work with a VPN switched on (including VPNs built into a browser, operating system or antivirus software), a proxy, or a service that hides your IP address, such as iCloud Private Relay on an iPhone, iPad or Mac with an iCloud+ subscription. Switch such a connection off before the screening and refresh the page.
• If you are in Poland, are not using a VPN and the film still does not play, write to us at info@piecsmakow.pl.

VOD Service Terms and Conditions

Online passes — rules

• The pass holder receives access to all films from the online programme available on the Five Flavours VOD platform. Not all films from the cinema programme are also available online, and some films are available online only.
• After purchasing a pass and logging in to your account, you can watch any film at any time and any number of times throughout the online festival (from 10 November, 10:00 a.m., to 6 December, 11:59 p.m.). You can start playing a film at any point during the event.
• The pass is personal and assigned to one specific account on the VOD platform.
• A film can be played on only one device at a time.
• Watching requires a verified Polish phone number and is possible only in Poland, without a VPN – see the details above.
• The festival programme includes over 50 films, at least 43 of which will be available online on the VOD platform.
• Films are shown in their original language versions, with Polish and English subtitles or Polish subtitles only.
• The Five Flavours online festival pass does not include access to films from the VOD platform’s permanent repertoire, including films from the Wong Kar Wai retrospective.

Cinema passes — rules

• Five Flavours Cinema+Online passes are on sale until 29 October or while stocks last.
• Holders of Five Flavours Cinema+Online passes are required to reserve seats for cinema screenings. Reservations can be made through a simple reservation system available after logging in to your account at piecsmakow.pl.
• Reservations can be made on any computer or mobile device with Internet access.

Seat reservation rules

• The pass is personal, i.e. it will be issued to the first name and surname given in the order form and assigned to the account from which the order was placed. The pass cannot be transferred to third parties.
• When ordering a Five Flavours Cinema+Online pass, you must attach a current portrait photo that allows the holder to be identified.

Cinema tickets — rules

• Payment must be made within 48 hours of placing the order. After that time the order will be cancelled.
• Tickets can be paid for only through the Przelewy24 service.
• Confirmation of the transaction will be sent to the e-mail address provided.
• After payment, tickets will be available for download from your user account and sent as a PDF file to the e-mail address provided.
• The organiser does not accept returns of purchased tickets.
• Seats in the auditorium are unnumbered.
• Your purchase history is available in the “My orders” tab after logging in at piecsmakow.pl
• The organiser reserves the right to end the sale at any time without giving reasons.
• There is no need to print tickets; it is enough to show them on the screen of a mobile device in adequate quality.

VOD access — rules

• Payment must be made within 48 hours of placing the order. After that time the order will be cancelled.
• Access can be paid for through the Przelewy24 service.
• Access is granted automatically once payment has been made – no additional activation is needed.
• The organiser reserves the right to end the sale at any time without giving reasons.
• Access to a single title lets you watch one selected film.
• Purchased films will be available from the start of the online festival, after logging in to the account from which the order was placed – once you open the page of the paid title, you will be able to play it right away.
• You can watch a selected film within 48 hours of pressing “Watch”
• A film can be played on only one device at a time.
• Watching requires a verified Polish phone number and is possible only in Poland, without a VPN – see the details above.
