Thank you for participating in this year's Five Flavours!
The 17th edition of the Festival, symbolized by the Water Rabbit filled with good energy, has just come to an end. You watched the films in cinemas in Warsaw and, for a full 19 days, on home screens as part of the online festival. Thank you for this intense time we spent together together, for participating in our screenings in such extraordinary numbers, for your enthusiasm and all your kind words. We encourage you to complete the Festival Survey – we want to keep improving the Festival to better meet your needs.
Five Flavors viewers are already accustomed to the fact that the Festival is carried out in a hybrid form. This allows it to maintain its cinematic feel, as well as to reach fans of Asian films throughout Poland. This year's rich program consisted of six sections – we screened 38 films in cinemas, and 29 online. You talked about them on our Facebook discussion group Pięć Smaków – Kino Azji, where a wonderful, engaged community has come to life.
This year's viewing statistics are impressive. The Festival films were seen approximately 30,000 times – over 8,000 viewers visited the cinemas, and the films were watched on the online platform exactly 20,579 times. These are single film views, but we know that whole families or groups of friends are watching them at home together, so the number of viewers is certainly higher. We are extremely happy with the ever-growing popularity of Asian cinemas in Poland!
We invite you to the 18th edition of Five Flavors – we believe that the Year of the Dragon edition of the Festival will be especially unique!
