On Sunday, we move to Japan. The guest of the studio will be Kiyoshi Kurosawa, the legendary author of Japanese cinema, one of the people behind the worldwide popularity of J-horrors who, in recent years, has been interested in the melodramatic conventions and the stories of ordinary people entangled in extraordinary situations. His "Wife of a Spy," set in the 1940s, is a look at a particularly troublesome period in the Japanese history and a moving portrait of a woman facing crucial life choices.

What to watch?

How to put the last days of the Festival to the best use? You should definitely consider the verdict of the International People's Jury which awarded the Special Mention to Jakrawal Nilthamrong's "Anatomy of Time" and the Five Flavours Grand Prix to "Spring Tide" by Lina Yang. We also encourage you to look for recommendations at our Facebook group, Pięć Smaków - Kino Azji, where the viewers passionately comment on the films they see and highlight the gems that are not to be missed.
